Third time I'm fasting here in Dubai and it's been quite good. I've got new found friends and old ones to accompany for iftar so that I don't feel so lonely. likey likey... Haven't had a SIN flt in 2 mths but there has been lotsa blessing behind this misfortune. Sheereen has finally passed her driving test after taking it a numerous number of times... but considering the recent accident(s) she's had, she believes that the success might have been a fluke. Shan't describe to what extent the damage was made shall be kept in the circle of trust. :P

First day of Ramadhan, I had an eye infection which had me tearing up suddenly and me resulting in calling in sick. But got udang sebalik mee cos at the stroke of midnite, miss Surya spent her leave to see us. That evening we buka at Aniza's place. Aniza made a fishball soup proving that she can cook and Audrey's BF naser cooked his own style a treat from algeria. I haf to invite them for iftar one day to but... what shall i cook! Hehe... The subsequent days we ended in Tony Roma's 2 nights in a row! Niza's BF came for a visit and he has said that the reason he came to Dubai is not to see niza... but to have ribs... that's love man! Hehe... jangan marah niza! Surya and I had a blast... kita kan ader "kereta" jalan2 was quite a breeze... we did surya's 101 things to do list... which at the last minute grew and made it impossible to complete! Nonetheless, her visit was fun and greatly appreciated. Looking forward to many holidays to come!

I have a new Korean flatmate who just arrived a week ago. My previous Thai flatmate kept to herself most of time and this one is so different. She invited us to haf dinner together and stuff which is cool. Hopefully it will be a start to a great friendship. I am missing everyone at home but keeping myself at this major task at hand which will be due in 2 weeks! Please pray for me... And when that is over... BALIK KAMPUNG! 2 words I never thought I'd say before I came to Emirates!
