So I headed down to Manchester earlier this week. Everything went well till about 5 mins to departure this serious looking guy came and requested to talk to the captain and this is extremely unusual. Thinking it might be some cargo problem which is normal and will cause a delay, we were requested to do the service on ground as we were delayed for at least 2 hours. The 2 hours turned to 4 and pax were getting worried about their connecting flights out of Dubai. When we finally took off, the questions never seemed to end, if only I got 10 dollars for the times I gave the same answer. When we finally landed, Captain informed us that there was a suspicious item in the cargo which resulted in all of the cargo offloaded to be inspected. But it was very serious and scary.When it happens to you as a delay all u can do is complain but when you got the whole picture, you're definitely thinking better safe than sorry.

With the delay, everything I planned for the next day was affected. I was supposed to have driving lessons and it was cancelled. But it was a good think I went if not I wouldn't have known that the branch I go to has up and left to the middle of the desert. Thankfully, there was a shuttle and the journey took 15 mins. Still it's a hassle compared to the accessible 10 mins taxi ride to the old branch. Had one more lesson and came late and had only 10 mins lesson only to discover that I was scheduled to take my road test the next day and it's been awhile since I've practised. So when i went back, my instructor called, I left my road permit in his car. So had to rush early in the morning aft the Karachi flight to get it in the middle of the desert before going for my test. The result is of course... FAIL... haiz... 3rd time man!

And before all this, I decided to rush over to SIN for a few days cos just felt like escaping Dubai. Up and left with my uniform to the airport and got on the flight. Yay!! And for the first time I was in SIN and my luggage was left in DXB... Good ah? No underwear, no change of clothes nothing... haiz... This month has been weird... Hope to see the silver lining soon!! hehe...
