We won the world cup!

Those were the exact words said by purser on the last flight i went to Tehran. She's from Italy obviously. And she was telling evryone she saw and she said that to us before briefing. She's really cute... Then I met like the first maltese guy on the last flight. It was a fun short flight i like all these short turnarounds. Really tiring but fun. I've had a total of 5 flights since i graduated and it's been great. Really look forward to my off days doing nothing watching videos or just chatting with my parents and adib online. It's good. I mean i do haf a life i sometimes do go out! haha... I think being in emirates has a somewhat humbling effect. Cos you go to places like Dhaka in Bangladesh and you see how those construction workers back home live and you get the bigger picture. I may not be the biggest humanitarian but it just awakes your morals if you could say that. People, be blessed cos we are blessed. Well evryone's got problems and stuff, just gotta deal I guess. It's nice flying around. Not complaining bout the pay either. I just miss home. Will give evryone i see a long 1 minute hug if i see you guys! haha.... OFF DAY TODAY!! YIPPEE!!!

Adventures

I had my two supernumery flights it was awesome... I was really afraid of it cos it was like I was afraid if i didn't like the job or if pple didn't like me. I just went up there and did it. Prayed for the best.. and yea it was good and pleasant. I didn't come across anything that my mind was giving possibilities for and stuff... it was a pleasant one. I only had turnards so I'm really craving for a layover so I can check into a hotel and find out how it is to haf a layover. I'm really excited. So places to strike off cos technically I've been there are Jeddah and Khartoum. Get this... in my flight to Khartoum, my Purser said, " The languages spoken by crew today are Arabic, English, Spanish..... and Singapore!!" Joke of the day... And she did it again on the way back to Dubai. Kwang kwang kwang... it was hilarious. Niwae, been hearing so many stories about relationships. Congrats to my Niece Amelia for getting engaged and she's gonna get married on the 27th of May 2007. I'm really happy for her. I still remember when we were teenagers we were talking abt crushes and boyfriends and stuff. Who knew they would still be together after all these years. Totally amazing. Should read the way he proposed to her guys... super the sweet. He seems like a really nice guy... Lucky her... Which got me thinking how is it possible to stay in love for so long? I mean like it should be hard. And how many of my friends current relationships will last till death do us part? How will i know if my relationship will last? You know how you consult pple when they come to u with their probs with their bf/gf... then you give them advice. But truth is, it is their choice rite? And if god wills it, they will be together for as long as they both shall live. So I guess, dun think so much abt the what ifs... the problems that "may" come up... Just live and love. Take it day by day and be blessed you have that one person to share then to never have that feeling. So Adib, thanks for being with me.

It's reaching the end

Can you believe it that I've been gone a mth? Woo hoo... slowly slowly 1/2 yr... then 1 year... wahduh cepat si! Gue sgt rindu sama drama deh! Miss my nek nah cos i was watching My big fat greek wedding... kwang3 I know tak practical. Haha... But I miss her ayam masak merah. Then i miss sitting down and just talking nonsense with her. Teaching her english and stuff... Rindu Nek Nah. Then when she talk on the phone... "Sheereen Baik?" haiz... Takpe... Sabar... Torture? Nah... I think it's a blessing cos i've always felt that i've been overprotected by my parents. Now Allah has given me this opportunity. Alhamdulilah... Life in Dubai... I shop and eat a lot during the weekends. Heaven (imran jealous?) Then study... Then go sch... Then test... Then result... Pathetic rite? They have resorted to calling me miss nerd... Cos i can't not study... while my classmates just wing it. *groans*. Reaching the end of my training, it's like a myriad of feelings, like I will miss a few pple in my batch. I'm glad the torture's over. I'm excited for my first flight. I'm scared and nervous for my first flight. My mum asked "Your first day at fish were u afraid?" yes... Same same mah... Alah, embrace it ah. I think once i get my first paycheck, then i'll have an ear to ear grin! kwang3. I've educated half my class on the proper usage of "lah". Gosh that was a tough thing to teach. They put everything with Lah. Aper dah! haha... they very cute. But after spending 5 weeks with them, I've had enuff! No joke, u just can't stand some pple. *counting to 10* haiz... 3 more days to go and insyaallah Iwill fly peeps! Yet to know my first destination. Tml got test... should be sleeping... ZZZZZZZZZ....
