Never thought I'd ever leave Singapore to make a living in a foreign country. Never thought songs like Sudirman's "Balik Kampung" or the phrase "pulang ke desa" would ever mean anything to me. I know it's super early to be listening to Hari Raya songs but it's getting me so pumped about heading back to SIN. It's like a race to finish my flights and to finish my course and pack my bag and go! Do I make staying in Dubai miserable? It's miserable if you're here during raya! Sorry to peeps who can't go back... Insyaallah nxt year!

Novelty of Raya still high on my ranks possibly cos it's the only time I can catch up with majority of friends and family. My nephew Euan unfortunately will be in Adelaide finishing his final year. You are cetainly missed dude! Come back as a graduate!

What am I doing up at 7am DXB time? Truth is haven't slept! hehe... Intentions of picking up GFs from flight but it was half achieved. Got niza's flt arr wrong... :P hahah... But it was nice to catch up with Alvi, the traveller, on the journey to her home.. She's leaving us to go to BKK and SIN... Crazy girl! Certainly been enjoying spending time with them. As time passes, there's only a certain group of pple you can really click with and the rest become acquaintance. Even certain close frens can be downgraded to that level sometimes. People who you thought understood what you mean or why you do certain things, but other times it's just off. I'm not the sort of person who confronts situations, but sometimes I wish I would. What if I start? Will things be better? Hmmm....

Oh well, when I'm heading home, I'll be catching up with my family and friends who have been there for me and who knows me! Can't wait....
