In Dubai

Yok gi Dubai... Let's haf a blow by blow of my encounters in Dubai shall we? Haha... First time taking Emirates so I didn't realise how small the aisle were. And due to my kiasuness, my baggage was overloaded! So I had to hand carry this huge load of junk! Haiz, so made sure i was the last few to board, had a steward help me put it up in the compartment. So imagine walking from the door to my seat in the with the big bag banging here and there. Dah takpe. So sat in my seat, somehow the gravity was pulling hard on me so dropped little things. So the flight was good, slept and watch this comedy central they had on for inflight entertainment. Cool... had a light snack and breakfast. So when i reached Dubai airport, thinking confidently there's trolley to aid my walk to the luggage area. Unfortunately nopes! So had to carry the big bag to meet my marhaba staff that was supposed to help me at the door. But u actually had to walk out a long way to find them! Then me just walked, saw my name on this electronic monitor, sat there waiting for someone to collect me but no one. So apparently, I had to walk FURTHER down! haiz... So then when I found the counter my name was no longer on the electronic board. So obviously got like, "We waited very long for you!" Duh... I was looking for you! Bygones... So this lady Li "helped" me to this meet and greet lady. (I highlighted help cos she didn't actually). Li brought me to meet Kim, who took my passport and photos and Visa. Then she told me about my apartment and stuffs and called a driver to send me there. Ok, saw many many buildings in Dubai. Very high Tech stuffs.... Me very starry eyed. When i reached my apartment, me went to tell them that I'm new crew here to check into my room. This security guard took my details and the driver unloaded my baggage just outside the door. Then they gave me a trolley to bring upstairs, and with no help at all i had to load it up and bring it up. With my baggage so huge, NO ONE HELPED! haiz... so as i was coming out the lift, one of my bags fell.... haha.... oh well, settled that and looked for my door. And i wasn't able to open the door. Rang the bell but no answer. Was already pressing the lift to go down and ask for "help" but my housemate opened the door! yay!!! I'm not alone. Check this out both of them are sporean malay girls! haha... cool rite... thye've been here since aug and it's fun. Their names are Norin and Nani.... guys must be going like jambu tak? Ya.. they are pretty... and attached to guys in Dubai. So they have their bf over and stuff. Haiz... but not bad. Norin invited me to a bbq they had in the evening with her bf and some frens. It's in the desert! Cool ah... So now updating you guys.... I will be fine... Please pray for me if you miss me. I'll be praying evrytime I feel that I want to break down.
